Dr Michael Woodcock



 Who is Michael when he’s not being a vet?

An Iron Man! Michael competes in Iron Man Triathlons both here and abroad. Ask him what he did on the weekend and he’ll probably tell you casually that he rode 160km on his bike then ran 14km. He’s up at 4.30am training before work too! Michael also loves a good Mocha in the morning.


Michael graduated from the University of Queensland in 1993 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science.

Special Interests

Michael is an advanced surgeon, able to perform orthopaedic procedures and advanced soft tissue surgeries. He also has loads of experience with birds & exotics (snakes, lizards etc) and is a large animal vet. You could say Michael is the ultimate all-round super vet!

Michael has also visited one of the Royal Canin factories overseas and was very impressed with the quality and controls! Michael believes that good nutrition plays a big part in keeping our pets healthy.

Dr Marion Brown



 Who is Marion when she’s not being a vet?

Marion is an enthusiastic triathlete of limited talent. She enjoys beach swimming and is forced to run by her coach. You can often see Marion riding her bike to work as she loves being outside as much as she can. Marion loves the outdoor lifestyle the Sunshine Coast has to offer, loves eating chips and enjoys quality coffee.


Graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (honours) from the University of Queensland in 1989 (yes, this was a very long time ago!). Marion has a wealth of experience having previously worked in mixed practice in Mt Isa, small animal practice in Darwin and Groote Eylandt,  small animal emergency practices on the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and most recently Cairns.

Special Interests

Marion is a highly experienced surgeon and loves the surgical aspect of her job. She has been working in Emergency medicine for the last 5 years and has an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to complex medical cases. 

Marion brings kindness and compassion to her clients and their pets and is a very popular vet on the Sunshine Coast. Marion is also has great sense of humour. 

Dr Marta Dymitry 



 Who is Marta when she’s not being a vet?

Outside of work, Marta loves spending time out in nature. She enjoys surfing, hitting or just laying on the beach. Marta recently moved from Perth so she is enjoying exploring the beautiful Sunshine Coast.


Marta completed a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Murdoch University in 2018.

Special Interests

Marta thoroughly enjoys surgery and is looking forward to building her surgical skills in the years to come. She also has a keen interest for nutrition and wildlife.

Chantal Wesener

Vet Nurse


 Who is Chantal when she’s not being a vet nurse?

Chantal is a mum to three dogs (Hunter, Jiggy and Suffy) and two cats (Princess Fleur and Toothless). She loves spending time outdoors, camping or motorbike riding with her husband.


Chantal holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and has been in the industry for 12 years.

Special Interests

Chantal has a passion for medical/hospital nursing as well as intensive care and emergency nursing.

Dr Lauren Bauer

Vet Nurse


 Who is Lauren when she’s not being a vet nurse?

Lauren is a lover of animals, feathered, furred, scaled or naked and has especially loves to be on horse back.  
She loves the beach and hitting the waves – going for a surf with her fiance is a must-do activity in her household. Lauren loves being underwater and is a competent diver, she recently returned from swimming with humpback whales in Tonga!

Lauren especially loves being involved in animal rescue – it’s fairly common to have rescue kittens at Lauren’s house. She also has a Border Collie named Charlie and a Kelpie named Poppy, both who found their way to their lovely mum via rescue.


Lauren has a Certificate IV in veterinary nursing and has been working in the industry for 5 years. Lauren has worked in emergency and has extensive surgical experience.

Special Interests

Lauren loves nursing  patients that are staying in our hospital and has a special interest in intensive care cases. Her kind and caring nature makes her very popular with her patients and their owners, it is very unusual to not see her smiling! 

Lauren is a huge patient advocate, and will always ensure her patients are warm, comfortable and nurtured while in her care. She loves all of your pet’s as much as you do!
