Our Desexing Prices are competitive for the level of care that your pet receives. All of our desexing surgeries include: a full health check, sedation, surgery, fluids during the procedure (to help keep the blood pressure stable and assist kidneys in the filtration of the drugs used), pain relief on wake up and three days to go home with, a warm and comfortable recovery ward, follow up phone call after surgery and visit. Once again the price is dependent on sex and size of your pet.

Prices start at $145.00 for cats and $268.00 for dogs. Be sure to contact your local clinic for a personalised quote. We do recommend taking home an Elizabethan collar to ensure your pet leaves their surgery site alone these start at $10.00 and a pre anaesthetic blood test which is $88.00. This test tests your pet's kidney and liver enzymes, red and white blood cell count, glucose and total protein levels. Your pet's kidney levels are what we are most concerned about, your pet will not show any signs of renal failure until 75% of their kidneys are no longer functioning, this blood test will pick up changes prior to irreversible damage has been done.

Dentals are an important part of your pet's health care. 80% of pet's have dental disease, chances are you pet is one of them. Dental disease is not only discoloured teeth and smelly breath, it is also painful for your pet, painful to eat and can be painful full time, it hinders the kidneys ability to filter your pet's blood as the bacteria enters the blood system via the gums.

We offer free dental checks all year round, to provide you with information you need to make the best choices for your pet. Dentals include a full health check, sedation, ultrasonic scale and polish, fluids during the procedure (to help keep the blood pressure high and assist kidneys in the filtration of the drugs used), a warm and comfortable recovery ward, follow up phone call after surgery and visit.

We would strongly recommend pre anaesthetic blood test, due to the involvement with the teeth and kidneys, which is $88.00.

Dental prices depend on your pet's weight and grade of Disease (1-4) and start from $295.00. Be sure to contact your local clinic for a personalised quote and to make an appointment for your FREE dental check.

The Surgery

It can be a reflection of the level of care provided. An old and tired looking waiting room can also mean older equipment and lower standards of care. Our waiting rooms have new furniture and piped music throughout so you and your pets feel relaxed and comfortable. At Coomera you can even gaze up at our sky ceiling or watch the cats in our luxury boarding suites looking down.
